One of the reasons we turn to addictive patterns is our fear of achieving something with our efforts or losing something with shame.
On the negative side of Addiction, it requires lots of activity with very poor results, and the victim is satisfied. Meanwhile, the more time you spend on creative thinking the more valuable and insightful you become.
Resilience is the watchdog for every individual and a conscious whip to the victim.
