BEING STUCK!

When you wake in the morning, you are so energized and excited about your day and that keeps you motivated throughout the day but during the mid-afternoon, you are so exhausted and feeling so drained to continue, and it needs another motivating factor to push you to continue your activity through the rest of the day. This is what happens within our lives especially when we need to move to the next level, we search for motivation rather it should be about discipline and accountability. Things you should consider;

1. Evaluate your relationships. Either you offer too much and least expect from your peers makes you feel comfortable, that’s due to your lack of self-esteem. When you are confident and your relationships are not reciprocated, you feel the need to move backward and observe if these relationships are adding value to your personality or devaluing your worth. It’s about being kind, not nice.

2. Acknowledge your environment. The fear of getting old in the same place (body, external persons, and environment) makes us feel threatened by our new challenges. The obstacles are the path towards the next phase. Our thoughts are so convincing that we imagine being stuck and believe things will eventually work out when you give us the opportunity to make things work. You need to be goal-oriented by appreciating what you have now (present) and working towards the future, which the past serves as a lesson towards greatness.

3. Societal Pressure: The sense of belonging has been analyzed both from the negative and positive sides. We focus on the negative, the norms of the society by men and women have caused lots of havoc between these genders, and finding a compromise is quite difficult because of the knowledge gotten from one person’s experience to another, without investigating your own journey and creating a path for yourself. You cannot carry a lot of people’s ideas in your life and expect to live a life of freedom, but when you are in charge of your thoughts refining the general ideas and creating a personality that works for you builds a solid foundation for yourself and your environment.

4. New Responsibility. I’m very convinced that we all prayed for what we are having now in our lives. We anticipated for everything to work out perfectly, but the actual reality is more suffering more gain. This makes us feel so discouraged and depressed by this new role. We have to accept and push ourselves to our limits, not making us slaves but rather warriors in our new responsibilities. when you are given the opportunity to express yourself, you are a hero, not a victim.

5. Lingua franca: what are the words we use upon ourselves and the people we are surrounded by? Are these languages appropriate to be used? The societal norms of words have incorporated our way of thinking and activity, do we actually analyze when we express ourselves, surely if we do that often we either notice we are becoming. More stupid or clever when we use these words. Your words become part of your personality and character and don’t interpret when you use them as a way of blending into society, but rather use them when you know it’s needed to add more value to you.

My main aim of this write-up is not to make you feel discouraged, but rather to elevate your thinking on the necessities of being disciplined and accountable. Sometimes we are stuck somewhere and yet we are unable to move further because of one of the activities mentioned above. All that you need is a little push to achieve your goals.
