Bravery And Truth

Most of us say we value honesty, and that’s the goal that makes us proud. Over the centuries, we have gained a deeper understanding of many good truths.

The best ones are the revelations about human nature. They explain to us, why we always doubt, mistrust and hate ourselves and each other. A great truth shows the beauty of our life and the truth of our great value.

More importantly, the great truth often bears a dark, dark self of humanity that shakes our self-image.

Even though it’s ugly, the truth that preserves reality has its own beauty. We cannot fully appreciate or taste the truth until we begin to understand the reasons why we avoid the truth.

The truth often requires us to be brave, fearless, and courageous. For example, the truth is that human actions on climate change have been scientifically proven.

We are afraid, paralyzed, afraid of what this truth requires.
